Life As of Late
I’ve been pretty tied up. On top of the usual scheme of advancing my music career, I’m staying true to a part time job that feels like a full time one, at P.F. Chang’s. I’m having fun doing it though and I’m making more money than I expected so I have the means to do things that I wasn’t able to do just a few months ago. One of those things is buying a domain (http://phantastic.me). This site is the new home for everything thePhantom*. Bookmark that.
If you go on the site actually, a click “HIP-HOP” you’ll see that I’ve released an instrumental album titled, Phantastic Hummingbird Grooves for the Neo-Conscious Mind or simply Phantastic. So far it’s received pretty good feedback.
Also, I’m in the works of creating a label from the ground up. More to come on that soon.
My family’s doing well. My nephew Jalen will be in town from LA in a couple weeks. He’s a riot. I believe he’s three. My dog, Mufasa, is finally becoming a dog instead of a puppy (it’s about time!). Katie, my girlfriend, is doing excellent as well! She’s one of a few youth that represent the city of Kansas City in every issue. She was recently named a Kansas City Youth Commissioner - pretty big news.
School went pretty good. I failed on class - Sociology. It’s only because it was incredibly elementary and seemed like a waste of time. Turns out my apathy was a waste of money. Oh well, I’ll re-take it at Penn Valley. Ironically, I got A’s and B’s in the rest of my classes.
