Wow, thought I’d never see the day! It’s true however. But the good thing about this trip is that it’s actually going to be fun. DJ G Train Mike Frank (my business partner) and I are going to KC Watersports to provide the on-site entertainment for the SCION OPEN Wake-board/Skateboard Competition.
Needless to say, I’m honored to even be a part of something this big. G Train and I were definitely humbled. I must say that I like the way that the folks at Dept. Zero and Scion are treating us. From their generosity, I’ve been exposed to different press opportunities as well as other situations I would have never been able to be a part of. Networking. That’s what I’ve been doing! It all goes to show, if you follow thru, you’ll go far.
I haven’t slept tonight. I’m not sleep…yet. We’ll see what happens when mid-day in the blazing sun comes around. HA! Oh well, I think this will be fun. Wish us luck and safe travels to Paola, KS.
